Players (NOT parents) need to download the HUDL and BAND apps to your mobile device and have notifications turned on. BAND is the primary method of communication between players and coaches. HUDL is used to share playbook information.
Both apps are introduced at summer camp and again at the start of the season. Your coach will send them an invite to each, at the appropriate time. It is your responsibility to reach out to one of the coaches for questions/issues with any app.
The Platform app is also required. It is used for when the kids are in the weigh room. The app guides them in their workout and it is where they log their numbers (reps & weight).

Summer/Start of Season
Join Summer Eagan Trained.
Practice starts the second week of August. Follow BAND for the most up-to-date information. For a more general overview, see the parent page.
Weather
Assume high school practices are ON regardless of the weather. If the fields are too wet or the sky is unfavorable, the players will go inside to workout, review film, talk with coaches, etc...
We have two player led fundraisers each year:
1) SNAP! Raise (email) campaign: This is a flat dollar fundraising campaign where each player creates a profile within SNAP! and submits at least 20 email addresses. The campaign generates the same standard goal for each player. As donations come in, the player can see their progress.
Kick-off (10th-12th): generally the last Monday in JULY.
Kick-off (9th): First day of Freshman camp.
2) Gold Cards (coupon) campaign: Players are expected to sell a minimum of 20 Gold Cards within the campaign window. The campaign ends Thursday during the 2nd week of August practice. If needed based on card sales the campaign will end with a Gold Card Night "Blitz Night" where all players are assigned to a group and sent out to sell any remaining and additional cards. When done, they come back to the school for a meal.
Kick-off (all grades): Card will be handed out in mid-July @ Eagan Train for those attending; anyone else you will receive the cards the first day of fall season
Varsity
Games are set on 2 year rotation with order staying the same just home/away flipping. Then MSHSL changes divisions for 2 more years.
JV
Home/Away is opposite to the Varsity schedule, so if varsity is home JV is away the next day. (Normally Saturday's at 10AM)
Sophomore
Home/Away is the same as the Varsity schedule, so if Varsity is home 10th is home. Game are normally Wed or Thurs after school
Freshmen
Home/Away is opposite to the Varsity schedule, so if Varsity is home 9th is away. Game are normally Wed or Thurs after school with 9A game 1st followed by the 9B game
9th & 10th Notes
Depending on the number of players and the opposing school, there could be two 9th/10th grade games; 9A/10A and 9B/10B.
All players are expected to attend the A game whereas the B game is attended by those who are assigned to play that game along with backups.
There are a few factors involved around who plays which game, or even both games.
Players will be notified leading up to the games on which one (or both) they are expected to attend.
Away Games Transportation (All teams)
Players are bused to and from the away games!
Game Change Notifications
Click [here] to access the South Suburban Conference site to request game notifications for all football levels as some games may deviate from the above due to Ref and Field availability.
10th-12th Grade
End of Season banquet is typically held the last Sunday in November. Players and Coaches eat for free. There is a per plate fee for parents to help offset the cost of the event.
Freshmen
End of Season celebration is typically a pizza party with the coaches, organized by the coaches.
